My name is Arnnav Kudale, a 16-year-old student and developer based in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. I have organized several hackathons, including JamHacks 9 and am an active member of FRC 1360 Orbit Robotics. I am passionate about 3D printing, drone technology, and system administration.

I am currently a grade 10 ALP student at WOSS. I am an executive of the Computer Science Club, a member of the VEX Senior Team, and Electrathon Team. Previously I was also a part of intermediate band.

This award is given to the top cadet in the phase 4 training. It signifies high levels of motivation, enthusiasm, positive attitude, and strong class participation. I was awarded this in 2025.

Oakville Youth Climate Action Fund - 2024

Town of Oakville

I was awarded the Oakville Youth Climate Action Fund for my project, TensorForest, which uses drones to capture high-resolution forest imagery and assess vegetation flammability. It automates data collection, creating detailed heatmaps to identify high-risk fire areas.

Top Phase 3 Cadet - 2023/2024

This award is given to the top cadet in the phase 3 training. It signifies high levels of motivation, enthusiasm, positive attitude, and strong class participation. I was awarded this in 2024.

ETFO Math and Science Award - 2022/2023

HDSB

This award is given to the student who shows excellence in Math and Science, demonstrating high levels of enthusiasm, participation in class, and going above and beyond regularly. I received this in 2023 at my grade 8 graduation.

Best Project Award

FIRST Girls and Allies Stemathon 2023 - Team CO3 (Team 9)

The Best Project Award recognizes the team that the judges thought came up with the best solution to their chosen problem which addressed the overall 2023 STEMathon challenge. As part of this recognition, I was also awarded a Fitbit Charge 5.

Programming co-lead September 2022 - Current

Contributed to the robotics programming team using Java, with a focus on automation and control systems. Additionally, I developed an RFID-based attendance system and supported the build subteam.

DRDO-AT-DYSL (drdo.gov.in)

Intern July 2024 - August 2024

I interned at the DRDO Young Scientist's Labratory for Asymetrical Technologies. There, I acquired hands-on experience with ROS for autonomous flight and successfully developed a drone that demonstrated this capability. Technologies which were used were ROS2 Humble, Ubuntu 22.04, and Python.

RagnoHacks (ragnohacks.ca)

Organizer - 3D Printing and Hardware June 2024 - Current

RagnoHacks is Ottawa's first in-person high school hackathon, bringing together teens from around the world to solve challenges related to natural disasters. As an organizer, I contribute to the 3d printing and hardware aspect mainly and helped with the initial stages of the website. I was also responsible for drafting professional correspondence to potential sponsors.

CTO and Developer July 2023 - January 2024

Developed backend APIs, managing data storage and user authentication systems using Python and Django. Created the first ever working prototype of the fact checker. I transitioned out of the role following a strategic shift in the company’s direction that no longer aligned with my professional interests.
